Bicycle Butler

MEET THE BUTLERS,

Neighbors first, bike enthusiasts second. Since 1993 we’ve kept Spokane rolling with friendly fixes, honest advice, and bikes we’d ride ourselves—from first balance bikes to e-mountain bikes.

We’re a family-run crew of mechanics, fitters, and trail geeks who call Spokane home. You’ll find us truing wheels before sunrise, swapping trail beta at lunch, and cheering you on when your shifting finally feels buttery. We believe service should feel human: clear estimates, quick turnarounds, and the kind of guidance we’d give a friend.

From Riverside gravel to Mount Spokane singletrack, from Beacon jump lines to Urban exploring, we stock what fits your needs. We service everything we sell as well as most other majors brands.

Founders & Family

Founders & Family
Bicycle Butler began in 1993 with a simple idea: treat every rider—and every bike—like family. Decades later, that spirit still drives the shop.

The shop was founded by Tim Arnold and Kathy Arnold. Their son Travis has been there since day one and Lucas was born into the family business 3.5 years later. Over the years both sons have worked at the shop; Travis is still there part time while pursuing other career opportunities. Lucas has moved on to a career in the Tri-Cities. Tim worked at the shop full time for the first 19 years and is still involved with events and races. Kathy has been there from the beginning and running the day to day operations for the last 13 years. It truly is a family owned shop.

“From first tricycles to downhill thrills, this is a family shop with the greatest of skills.”
